We would like to provide you with the opportunity to sit down and talk with a few home school veterans about what’s worked and what hasn’t? From teaching with babies and toddlers to preparing teens for college, you can find out what methods are most successful.
Throughout the year, we will be offering various Homeschooling 101 Workshops. Get your questions answered, look at a wide variety of resources, and connect with other parents who are facing the same challenges you’re facing.
Topic: Homeschooling 101
The workshop includes discussion about the legal requirements of homeschooling in Kansas, , registering your homeschool, and withdrawing students from public schools; the day-to-day implementation of homeschooling; schedules, basic homeschool methods, learning styles, socialization, support groups, curriculum choices; and much more. Participants are given the opportunity to have open discussion. You will take home a book full of information we go over in class. Come and learn more.

Time: 6:30pm – 10:00pm
Location: Loving God Loving You Church, 803 W. 63rd South, Wichita, KS 67217 on 63rd Street South (between Seneca and Broadway) it is on the south side of the road
The cost will be $35 per couple, (this includes a manual with a lot of information for you to keep.)
