2008 Registration Info

You may register for the 2008 Convention online or at the door (“onsite”). Please note: when you register for the convention on-line, you will be setting up a user account for the TPA website. This will allow you to login at any time and view your order history or place additional orders. Additional benefits for those with user accounts may be added in the future.

Adult Conference

Registration

Early registration is now open and will close at midnight May 16, 2008. The cost includes free admission for spouses and children; friends and other relatives should register separately. Spouses are free because TPA wants to encourage both parents to be actively involved with the homeschooling process. Children may also attend for free, including teenagers and even adult children (as long as they are not parents themselves yet!). TPA does recommend however that you make childcare arrangements for your younger children or register them for AIC, so that you may focus more fully on the Convention. If you do bring young children, please keep them with you at all times; DO NOT let them “roam free.” TPA does not provide a private area for nursing mothers, but there is a lobby at the north end of the workshop hallway on the 2nd floor and lounges at the south end of the hallway on the 1st and 2nd floors that afford a measure of privacy and comfort.

Cost

  • Full Convention (Keynotes+Workshops+Exhibitor Hall • Friday+Saturday):  Early Registration $35, Onsite $50.
  • Shopping Only (Exhibitor Hall • Friday+Saturday):  Early Registration $15, Onsite $20.

PLEASE NOTE: the TPA rate for the Hyatt Hotel is single and double rooms $97.00, triple and quad rooms $117.00

Note:  To receive the early registration price, register online by May 16, 2008, or mail your registration so that it is postmarked by May 16, 2008.  If a mailed registration is postmarked later than May 16, 2008, and the payment enclosed is for the early registration price, the difference will have to be paid onsite before admission will be granted.

Online – credit card/PayPal, Mail – check/money order, Onsite – check/money order/cash.

Note:  If you are registering children for AIC, please write your check for the total of both Convention and AIC.  Checks should be made payable to TPA Conv 2008.

Requests for refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Adventures In Character

Registration

You may register your child for AIC online, by mail (download and print a registration form here), or at the door (“onsite”). The cost includes a T-shirt that features AIC’s 2008 logo.

Cost

(includes a free T-shirt*):  $25 first child + $15 additional siblings.

*To guarantee your child receives a T-shirt, register online by May 16, 2008, or mail your registration so that it is postmarked by May 16, 2008.  If a mailed registration is postmarked later than May 16, 2008, your child may not receive a T-shirt.

Payment

Note:  Unless you are registering children for AIC after you already paid for the Convention, please write your check for the total of both Convention+AIC.  Checks should be made payable to TPA Conv 2008.
